Intermediation notice

Costa Companion is a platform that connects people with independent language companions. We do not directly provide the interpretation service nor are we responsible for its outcome, and we do not take part in the financial agreement between the parties.

For actions with legal value (statements before the police or the courts, notarial signings) an official sworn interpreter may be required; we will warn you when this is the case.

Code of conduct: the companion never handles the client’s money. The platform sets the price, charges or records the payment, and applies the cancellation and refund policies.

The service is provided with respect and confidentiality: the companion treats everything they see and hear as confidential and provides no professional advice.
